2005-04-29 13:02:36 - PvP Rankings Well, the first rankings are in!
So what rank did everyone get? I'm a Corporal myself atm, which is fair enough I guess since I only did 2 PvP sessions this week 8) I'm not sure what I would do with a "team insignia trinket" or where I should get it, but I'm going to try for rank 3 or 4 next week I think, get access to a few itams :P __________________ Thorarin, Level 60 Warrior (277+ Armorsmith) Jydan, Level 60 Priest (300 Tailor, 280+ Enchanter) Alinda, Level 40 Mage (240+ Engineering) GM and Webmaster of Tyr's Handful |

Got 4 kills or something, haven´t really concentrated on some pvping. Maybe i will when im 60 or get bored ^^ /edit I have no idea how warrior trinket is, but i think it removes poly/stun/root. As for getting it, you can buy it in SW in Old Town at the Barracks. Is a female NPC there selling the different items. Door next to her leads to the Officer place, but you need to be Knight rank to go in there (the ubah equipment place) ^^ __________________ Server - Draenor Fayne 60 Priest ~ Zanith 60 Warrior Furinax 3x Warlock ~ Linyah 60 Hunter Gharn 60 Rogue ~ Slithice 3x Druid Sanzor 60 Paladin ~ Thavall 3x Mage |

The Rogue version of the trinket does remove polymorph, but not stun (I think). __________________ Thorarin, Level 60 Warrior (277+ Armorsmith) Jydan, Level 60 Priest (300 Tailor, 280+ Enchanter) Alinda, Level 40 Mage (240+ Engineering) GM and Webmaster of Tyr's Handful |

2005-05-03 07:39:10 - Re: PvP Rankings Tbh the trinket ain´t that much of use, even as many classes whine about it.
The only plusses i can see, is when countering a Priest or Warrior fear. Rest dosen´t really matter. The trinket on cancels or breaks your current root/stun etc..it dosen´t make you immune. So, if a rogue stuns you and you hit your trinket, then he/she can just use another stun skill and your fubared >_< Same with poly or warlock fears as they are recastable. __________________ Server - Draenor Fayne 60 Priest ~ Zanith 60 Warrior Furinax 3x Warlock ~ Linyah 60 Hunter Gharn 60 Rogue ~ Slithice 3x Druid Sanzor 60 Paladin ~ Thavall 3x Mage |

Are there, apart from Hillsbrad, places where both factions are raiding 24/7? I got a bit tired of Hillsbrad, too many ppl pulling truckloads of guards all the time :( __________________ Sape: lvl 60 druid, with a pink shirt Fûgelbeeb: lvl 31 priest, with fearsome shadow powers SirGalahad: lvl 26 pala, knight of the round table |

The Deathguards are kinda easy to kill thou, not like daoc guards :-P If people just focus on em a bit, they fall quickly ^^ __________________ Server - Draenor Fayne 60 Priest ~ Zanith 60 Warrior Furinax 3x Warlock ~ Linyah 60 Hunter Gharn 60 Rogue ~ Slithice 3x Druid Sanzor 60 Paladin ~ Thavall 3x Mage |

None of em tell they remove it, and its not considered a root/stun/mezz etc. i cba to care..i doubt i´ll have much use of it as i don´t run around solo...yet. What would you wanna use it against? A Priest going to fear you in SS? With the people there, its dead before getting to fear area. Warlock? They can recast fear...you got owned. Rogue? In the area where the action is, several hunters are flaring all the time, so they wont get close. If they get to you and Cheapshot you, you pop trinket...they kidneyshot you and your stunned again. Yay.. Warrior might be the only place where i can see it beeing good. Charge in and pop Intim Shout. Or he is "mezzing" you in a duel and you use trinket. Otherwise the warrior just get pwned when charging into the people. Mage...shrug, they can poly you and you can do shit. Nova can be cancelled, but you still need to hunt the blinking gimp down, unless he poly you again. Shammies? Just own em, they ain´t even a threat even thou people say they are overpowered. Hunters? Buhaha..nuke their 1k life away at 60. Stun from paladin..meah, if you really fear their damage, you better get better equipment :-P Dr00ds root..trinket down and they recast. Wow at the usefulness >_< All in all i don´t see that much fun in it, but as Skeggi said...could be useful for PvE yes. But in PVP i´d rather have my armor and +stat trinket active ^^ __________________ Server - Draenor Fayne 60 Priest ~ Zanith 60 Warrior Furinax 3x Warlock ~ Linyah 60 Hunter Gharn 60 Rogue ~ Slithice 3x Druid Sanzor 60 Paladin ~ Thavall 3x Mage |

2005-06-12 10:58:41 - Re: PvP Rankings You obviously haven't PvP'd alot, I find the trinket very useful in both PvE and PvP. Yes most skills can be recasted, but the point is: they rarely do; people have a sort of rythm they use when defeating enemies, and therefor recast will not always happen.
