Early this afternoon the much awaited 1.5 patch finally went live, introducing PvP battlegrounds to World of Warcraft. The patch is about 50 MB, so if you haven't downloaded it yet, get started ;)
Unfortunately for AddOn users this version is not compatible with the previous few versions and will thus require an update of installed AddOns.
The waiting times to actually get into one of the battlegrounds can be high at the moment, especially since there only seems to be one actual instance per battleground. Since the instance name is numbered, I assume this is a bug or that they plan on expanding on the capacity later.
